We pleased to have local professional player Harry Falconer asscocaited with the Club, Harry has taken a hands on role, running weekly Club sessions, 1 to 1 coaching & running the Saturday Junior sessions. The Club has also recently reached out to local schools, running after school clubs ,which has seen a large uptake. Harry has been a huge influence in the Club gaining membership to the Yorkshire League, with the hope of gaining promotion to the Premier League.
The current membership is around 200, using the 3 courts and Club facilities 7 days a week, with 3 man local Leagues, Yorkshire League & Club Tournaments taking place
After a couple of years the Clubs Annual Invitational Tournament returned due to the Covid break. The 3 day event in August was well supported, with members entering along side Regional & National Champions. The final took place on the Sunday and was played out between Nick Wall (L) & George Parker (R), eventually being won by Parker.
November saw England take on Scotland with World No36 George Parker taking on World NO32 Greg Lobban in an exhibition match at the Club. As a warm up prior to the main event for the large crowd of spectators, Club members Mally Kitt & Joe Robinson took to the courts taking on the visiting players.
